Forms

Submit completed forms to the Faculty Office (WYS 1325) or by email from your University account. Applications that need an adviser’s or supervisor’s endorsement should be signed before submission.

Handbooks, guidelines and reports, updated each academic year. Where a document is superseded mid-year, the version date on the cover page is authoritative.

FAQs

The questions the Faculty Office answers most often, grouped by the stage you are at. Anything not covered here goes to the online enquiry form.

When do I declare my Programme? At the end of Year 1, once you have taken introductory courses across the Academies. Declare with the FASS-S01 form after meeting your academic adviser; places in high-demand Programmes are allocated on Year 1 results.
Who is my academic adviser and how do I meet them? You are matched with an adviser in your Academy before Semester 1 and notified by email. Advisers hold weekly consultation hours, and there are two required checkpoints a year — before add–drop and before Programme declaration.
What does the Student Experiential Learning Grant cover? Travel, accommodation, insurance and registration fees for approved fieldwork, internships, service-learning and short overseas programmes. It does not cover tuition or personal expenses.
Am I automatically considered for Faculty scholarships? Yes for entrance and academic achievement awards — no application is needed. Service and nominated awards require the FASS-S08 form, endorsed by a staff member.
What counselling and accessibility support is available? The University’s Counselling and Development Centre provides confidential counselling, workshops and examination accommodations. The Faculty Office can arrange coursework adjustments while an assessment is in progress.
Where do I go for careers advice or an internship? The Careers and Placement Centre runs one-to-one advising, CV clinics and the internship portal; the Faculty also places students directly with media, museum, NGO and government partners.
How long does a form take to process? Most student forms are processed within five working days; credit transfer, appeals and supervisor changes take up to fifteen because they need a panel decision.
Can I submit a form by email? Yes, as a single PDF from your University account, with any required signatures. Original documents are only needed for financial claims.
